Groups

Currently, Governor is in use for Microsoft 365 Services and Entra ID (Azure AD) as target systems. It means Governor admin can consolidate all the information in one place. As connected services, Azure AD and Microsoft 365 have a directory synchronization.

It means that one group created in Azure AD, is provisioned and "connected" in Exchange Online or Sharepoint Online. With this fact if an Azure AD group is deleted, this group will be deleted in the other services too.

Group in Governor is composed then by different "partitions" (Config Type) where the information is consolidated per system. With this concept we can say Governor performs one observation per partition to compose the "Governed Groups".
