Objects

These are the current Object Types Governor is able to manage. As open platform we can customize, create new Object Types, observe and manage other Object Types etc.

Each object is categorized by Target System but they are related to each other.

For example a User in Entra ID has his pair User in Exchange Online.

Same for Teams, one team is a M365 Group in EntraID and has related Sharepoint sites and even Exchange Mailbox. As definition we have Inventory Objects and Governed Objects

Governed Objects​

Governed object are those objects stored in Governor, and they reflect the status of "desired state of" Inventory Objects

Inventory Object​

These are the target system objects (objects in the cloud) in their current state
